December 5, 2014

This morning on the radio on my way to school, I heard them debating about feminism. Apparently, women have a responsibility to have children and take care of them for their husbands, and should prioritize having children before their careers.

Ha.

Ha.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

So last week was spirit week, and as per request by the seniors, Tuesday was Inanimate Object Day (in which you dress up as an object).

I naturally dressed like myself as usual, because women are already objectified in  the media enough.

Actual feminism princess, obviously.

Yesterday on my pre-AP world history exam, there was an excerpt from an Ancient Indian text stating that women have no purpose other than to serve their husbands, and to be submissive to men all the time.

When I read it, I started laughing so hard I started crying.

In the middle of the test.

first post!

I just thought of this idea in the shower. And I absolutely could not wait to put it into action. Because I LOVE NEW IDEAS.

And here I am, making a blog about my daily adventures.

I'm a 14 year old girl from New York. My favorite color is glitter, I like to sing, and I practically live for frappuccinos. But plot twist- I'm a human rights activist, feminist, and aspiring politician.

I'll probably post whenever someone dsays something stupid.

I have a feeling I'm going to be posting a lot.

Along with a selfie. Because I really love taking selfies.

Wish me luck.
